Meg Matters TX Scholarship

On Tuesday, May 14th, MegMattersTX had the honor of awarding 4 student scholarships at the Krum High School Senior Awards Night! We requested that our scholarship applicants submit two essays addressing diverse topics related to mental wellness.

These students were chosen as scholarship recipients for a multitude of reasons.

They all have a heart for serving others. They are kind, empathetic, and foster understanding and support for mental health struggles. We admire their desire to create a more inclusive and compassionate school environment.

We want to recognize these students for their strength, resilience, and perseverance, in the face of all different kinds of challenges. Each of these students align with our mission statement at Meg Matters and we are proud to have them represent our organization.

$2000 to Kennedy Neal

$2000 to Alynah Price

$500 to Jesse Elkington

$500 to William Henderson

In addition to these 4 scholarships we were able to donate $250 to the NBA (No Body Alone) organization.
